QUESTION ASKED: My weather stopped working, how do I fix it? |
1. Download Questions
Should I choose Save or Open
when downloading? Either way will work. It is easier to
choose Open as it will install without having to save and find the file
to install it. Our Download
page explains both in detail. Return to Top of Page Why do I
get an error when I try to download CalendarPal? Your
browser may be preventing your download from our main download link as
it is set up to tell us how many downloads we have had of the program.
It does not save any information about you. Also, do not use a download
manager or download accelerator. If you have one installed turn it off,
or right-click the download link and choose "Save target as", save it to
your Desktop or other location where you can easily find it, and
double-click the installation file to install CalendarPal. If you
continue to have a problem,
choose our alternate download link, or
How do I uninstall CalendarPal?
There are two ways to uninstall CalendarPal. 1) Choose Start, All
Programs, CalendarPal, and choose Uninstall, or 2) Click Start, Control
Panel, Add/Remove Programs, find CalendarPal in the alphabetical list,
and choose Remove. Return to Top of Page 3. General Questions Does CalendarPal have a backup feature? No, it does not. If you want to do a manual backup once in a while to save your information, you can open Windows Explorer (My Computer), go to C:/Program Files/CalendarPal/Settings and save the contents of this folder. You could save that folder to CD, floppy or other location. To recover your information in case of format or loss, reinstall CalendarPal, then copy the saved folder contents into the newly created one and let it copy over the files. This would ensure all your settings (dates, notes, etc) are saved.
Why is the time in the lower right of CalPal different from my local time? This is not your local time display; it is the time that the weather was last updated at accuweather.com for your locale. You can refresh weather data from Accuweather any time by clicking "Weather" in the CalendarPal toolbar and selecting "Update Weather". My weather suddenly stopped working? What happened and how do I fix it? Some Windows updates change your Internet connection settings so that CalendarPal cannot find it. There's an easy fix - it takes less than 2 minutes: 1. Open CalendarPal
4. Reminder Questions How do I get my Reminders to show on CalendarPal? Right click anyplace on the days on CalendarPal and choose "show Reminders"
